I Am A Vampire, I Am Not.!.

If I were I holding a flower right now I would have pull off their petals saying those things like a kid to get an answer but I wasn't, too bad.

Possibly because of my Twilight Saga obsession these last few months and having been awake whole night then go to sleep at dawn just like vampires in books (and getting eye bugs not to mention) made me go gaga over vampires.

As we all know the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer have been a big hit in both the big screen and the books shelves. I admit I am one of those Twilight addicts and being one made me compare Meyer's vampires with the common knowledge I have about vampire.

In fact I admire Stephanie Meyer's illustration of vampires in her books . . .
  • good looking
  • having inhuman strength and speed
  • have special abilities e.i. can read minds
  • cold white skin
  • never sleeps
  • never get tired, doesn't breathe
  • aren't bothered by garlic, holy objects or silver
  • can be photographed like a human
  • never get burned by the UV rays of the sun but their skin will just glitter like having millions of diamonds in it
  • the color of their eyes changes depending on their hunger and diet (either human or animal blood)
  • they can never reproduce -- a new born vampire is a newly transformed vampire and transformation takes two days after being bitten for the venom have to spread throughout the body until it reaches the heart
  • they're immortal
  • you have to ripped it in pieces then burn the pieces in order to kill it

In other vampire movies I've watched (like the Count Dracula movies) its different . . .
  • they sleep in coffins
  • feeds only in human blood
  • get burned by the UV rays of the sun
  • afraid of holy objects, garlic and silver
  • cannot be photographed -- the photo will be blank
  • doesn't have a reflection or a shadow
  • though like in Meyer's books they're immortal, they have inhuman strength and speed
  • you have to stuck a wooden stake in their heart, burn them in fire to kill them

Recently i just watched the movie Cirque De Freak: The Vampires Assistant (obviously its about vampire again). The movie also have a different characteristic of a vampire . . .
  • it doesn't have fangs unlike the usual vampire we know instead the have hard, sharp nails to cut their prey
  • sunlight kills them due to long exposure
  • aren't bothered by garlic, silver or holy objects.
  • aren't immortal, they age at one-fifth the human rate
  • vampires are created by blood-to-blood contact with the human through the
  • they feed either by human or animal blood but some animal blood are toxic to them
  • Cannot be photographed but it has reflections and shadows
  • they heal fast using their saliva
  • they don't drink from the neck instead they cut a vein of a victim, drinking small amount of blood from the vain then healing it using their saliva
  • they have a cousin, the vampaneze -- purple skin, red hair, eyes, lips and fingernails due to drinking lot of blood for they must kill when they drink blood (they drain all of their victim's blood)
