Last May 27, Walt Disney brought the famous video game Prince of Persia: Sands of Time to life in big screen. Directed by Mike Newell.
With Jake Gyllenhaal as Dastan (lead role) --the adventurous and mischievous prince of Persia together with Tamina (Gemma Arterton) --the princess of the Holy City, Alamut are on a dangerous quest to stop his uncle Nizam 's (Ben Kingsley) plot for ultimate power using an ancient dagger that can release the Sands of Time --a mysterious weapon that can control the very fabric of time.
